Movement Lesson #1

In this lesson, we will be exploring how the muscles of the front of your body work to support you. The amount of definition in your abs is not actually a clear indicator of core strength because your core is so much more than just your front. What we’re after today is feeling how the deeper layers of your abdominal muscles connect to other parts of you to help you to move efficiently.

Remember to take care of yourself and only do what's comfortable. If you experience any pain, do less. Let me know if you have any questions.


MATERIALS NEEDED:

Just yourself and a mat! And enough space to lie comfortably.

Make sure to wear comfortable clothes. Remove jewelry, belts, or any other articles that might restrict your movement. Also remove your glasses.
